Card processing
Card payments run through SimplePractice's built-in Stripe integration at 3.15% + $0.30 per successful charge, including stored cards and Tap to Pay.
Text reminders
Text, email and voice reminders are free with no per-message charge, but they start on the Essential plan (not listed for Starter).
Deposits and no-shows
You can set a cancellation policy and bill the full or set fee for no-shows/late cancels to a stored card. No deposit-at-booking feature confirmed.
Marketplace commission
None found on the vendor's pages.

- Card processing (3.15% + 30¢) is higher than standard Stripe rates
- Appointment reminders are not on the $49 Starter plan
- Only Plus supports extra clinicians: $74/month each for 2-5, $72 for 6-15, $69 for 16+
- Practice managers cost $39/month each
- Add-ons: ePrescribe $49/month per clinician + $89 setup; Note Taker $35/month; Care Aide AI $59/month (+$49 per extra clinician)

What I couldn't confirm
Plan prices and add-on prices from the official pricing page and help-center pricing FAQ (via reader proxy). Annual billing prices are not published. The plan comparison help article was blocked (403) so exact per-plan client limits and which plans include online payments/booking widget could not be confirmed; pricing page lists 'unlimited clients' under Plus.
