Card processing
Connect your own Stripe, Square or PayPal (PayPal can be paired with Stripe or Square). Acuity charges nothing to integrate; the processor's own fees apply. Squarespace Payments is not available for Acuity.

Text reminders
Text reminders on Standard and Premium only, not Starter. Squarespace says texts sent by Acuity cost you nothing; clients' carrier rates may apply. Availability varies by country.
Deposits and no-shows
All plans can take deposits or full prepayment through Stripe, Square, PayPal or Venmo. Packages, payment plans, memberships and gift certificates need Standard or Premium.
Marketplace commission

The catches
- No free plan, only a 7-day trial
- Starter has no text reminders, packages, memberships or waitlist
- Plans are capped by calendar count (1 / 6 / 36), so growing staff forces upgrades
- Removing 'Powered by' branding and signing a HIPAA BAA require Premium
- Annual billing saves 20%
What I couldn't confirm
Annual per-year totals are not stated on the page (only per-month annual prices), so annual_price_usd_per_year is null. Card-present/in-person rates not published by Acuity (processor pass-through).
