Card processing
Connect your own Stripe or PayPal account; in-person card reader payments use Stripe Terminal. Help article says paid plans pay only Stripe's standard fees, while legacy 'Starter' plan accounts pay an extra 0.9% transaction fee and are capped at $99 per booking.

Text reminders
Automated reminders are a core feature. Sign In App's Enhanced and Pro plans list unlimited SMS; Core does not list it.
Deposits and no-shows
Can take payment at booking via Stripe/PayPal; deposit or partial-payment options and no-show fees were not confirmed on current official pages.
Marketplace commission
None found on the vendor's pages.
The catches
- No longer sold as a standalone cheap scheduler: 10to8.com and signinscheduling.com pricing now redirect to Sign In App visitor-management pricing
- Billed per site per year only; no monthly option shown
- Appointments are capped by yearly bundles (2,400 or 9,600 per year)
- Legacy Starter accounts pay an extra 0.9% on top of Stripe and can charge at most $99 per booking
- The old free and low-cost 10to8 plans are not on the official site anymore
What I couldn't confirm
official pages conflict on whether scheduling is included or a $460/yr add-on (2,400 appts/yr).
Official pricing is the Sign In App page (signinscheduling.com/pricing and 10to8.com/pricing 301-redirect there). Official pages conflict: the add-on page says scheduling is included in Enhanced and Pro; the pricing page lists a scheduling add-on bundle of 2,400 appointments/year for $460/year and a comparison table showing 2,400 (Enhanced) and 9,600 (Pro) appointments/year. Whether scheduling can be bought on Core, or bought standalone by new customers, is not stated. Staff/user limits for scheduling are not published. Legacy 10to8 plan prices seen on review sites were NOT used. Monthly-equivalent prices are computed as yearly price / 12.
