Jane Payments is Jane's own integrated processor; no monthly, PCI or contract fees. Terminal hardware is a one-time purchase. Instant payouts cost an extra 1.5%.
Text reminders
Practice and Thrive include unlimited free SMS appointment reminders (availability varies by region). Not confirmed for Balance.
Deposits and no-shows
With Jane Payments you can require a card on file, a deposit or full prepayment at online booking (all or first-time visits only) and charge late-cancel/no-show fees to the saved card.
Marketplace commission

The catches
- No free trial (demo account only)
- Balance plan caps you at 20 appointments a month and one practitioner
- Each extra practitioner costs extra: $17.50 part-time / $35 full-time on Practice, $20 / $40 on Thrive
- Insurance billing is an add-on: $20/month plus $5 / $2.50 per extra full/part-time practitioner
- AI Scribe and group telehealth are $15/month per practitioner each; Jane Websites $59/month per clinic
- Pricing page also shows CAD; use the en-US locale for USD
What I couldn't confirm
Plan prices and per-practitioner prices read from the en-US pricing page via reader proxy (one direct fetch returned inconsistent extra-practitioner numbers; the verbatim reader-proxy copy was used). No annual billing option was shown. Whether Balance includes SMS reminders was not confirmed. Processor exclusivity (whether Stripe/Square can be used instead) not confirmed, so forces_own_processor is null.
