Card processing
Goldie payments run on Stripe at Goldie-set rates: 2.5% + 30¢ per card transaction on Pro and Pro Plus, 3.5% + 30¢ on the free Starter plan, $0.50 minimum per transaction, buy-now-pay-later 6% + 30¢. Instant payouts on Pro Plus cost 1.8% ($25 minimum and $500 daily maximum as stated). Same rate is listed for all card transactions; no separate in-person rate published.
Text reminders
Starter: reminders sent manually from your own device. Pro: 500 free SMS credits/month in the US. Pro Plus: 250 extra (750 total). More messages can be bought; per-message price not published.
Deposits and no-shows
Deposits on all plans with payments enabled; no-show protection (deposit or card capture) on Pro and Pro Plus. When no-show protection is on, clients pay a $1.20 booking fee (US) on appointments of $10 or more.
Marketplace commission
None found on the vendor's pages.
The catches
- Free Starter plan caps you at 20 appointments a month and charges a higher 3.5% + 30¢ card rate.
- With no-show protection on, clients are charged a $1.20 booking fee.
- Processing only through Goldie's Stripe-based payments, with a $0.50 minimum fee per transaction.
- Pro is single-user; teams need Pro Plus.
What I couldn't confirm
No free trial length is stated (a free plan exists instead). Extra SMS pricing is not published. Whether an outside processor (e.g. Square) can be used is not stated; only Stripe-based Goldie payments are documented. Pro Plus team size shown as unlimited per the pricing page; no per-staff charge found. The help article's phrasing of the instant payout minimum ($25) was reported as stated and may refer to a fee minimum or payout minimum.
