Fees beyond the plan
Card processing
Dubsado says it adds no payment fees of its own. Dubsado Payments is powered by Stripe and follows Stripe's rates: US domestic cards 2.9% + 30¢, international cards 4.4% + 30¢, ACH 0.8% capped at $5, instant payouts 1%, card/ACH disputes $15, failed ACH $4. You can connect Dubsado Payments or Square (not both), plus PayPal. Optional card surcharging (3% in the US, not allowed in some states). Tap to Pay in the mobile app is available; its rate is not stated on the fee page.

Text reminders
No SMS reminder feature found on the official pricing page; reminders appear to be email-based.
Deposits and no-shows
Payment schedules let you take a retainer/deposit up front with the rest later; no dedicated no-show fee feature confirmed on official pages.
Marketplace commission
None found on the vendor's pages.
The catches
- Scheduling is only on Premier; Starter has no scheduler
- Extra users beyond the 3 free ones are charged in tiers ($25, $45, $60/month), not per seat
- Additional brands cost $10/month each
- No SMS reminders found
What I couldn't confirm
Plan prices and user tiers confirmed on the official pricing page. The '3 additional users for free' was read as owner plus 3 extra users (4 total); the page wording is 'enjoy 3 additional users for free'. Whether the user tier prices are per month for the whole tier block (not per user) is how the page reads. SMS capability and Tap to Pay rate not confirmed on official pages.
